Just been in the garden taking photos for the flower of the day thread

Happy the youngsters are making it out the caves,amazing and good how peeps working together for the good of others.
The best part of this hotness is
1 the weeds are held at bay,apart for near where water has been,and they go to the girls.
2 haveing some sleep time in the shade outside.
3 slowly getting the home patch sorted out,and clearing the plot of things,either give away or bring home.

small person running around in the sun. Has just got a cricket bat - I'm not convinced he's a natural, but he can't be worse than his dad

What makes me happy is the triumph of hope (and skill, resources, planning, courage, technical equipment and sheer grit) over a seemingly impossible task.

I wonder if people realise just how hard these guys have worked and the sort of risks they took to help others, the lads and their coach are so very lucky to have such an happy outcome.

Back in the 60s I was a member of DCRO team M would I cave dive.... not on your nelly, I would free dive a short sump OK but put on scuba gear and go, no way Jose.

Thank goodness for all those cave divers from where ever because without them it would never have happened. Aided by the Thai seals who are only trained in open water diving they have done a wonderful job.....

People often ask why I am a keen gardener, when it is much easier to buy stuff.
