Morning all
Hope everyone is ok this morning.
Lots happening over the next couple of days.
Today breeze is having his first day helping Bob at the local pheasant shoot. I'm putting up Christmas trees in the 2 holiday homes I clean.
Tomorrow food shopping. Mostly mince pies and other unhealthy Christmas fodder.
Wednesday putting up our tree and friends coming for lunch.

Frosty start to the day with the greenhouse reading 0. I have also decided to give up on sprouts Cads, too long in the ground for too little return and a feeding ground for the white fly.

Morning, I only grow 6 sprout plants in the hope for some to eat at Christmas, this years still look marble sized
still going to eat them though.

Morning all. NS thinking of you, it will be over before you know it and you can enjoy Christmas.
Domestic duties today. Beds to strip...it's going to be musical beds here. Our new mattress is faulty so a replacement is being delivered on Thursday so I have to strip our bed then strip the bed in spare room. Wash and iron both sets of bedding. Sleep in spare room on Wednesday night. Strip that bed and move back into ours on Thursday night and remake spare room bed for daughter and hubby arriving on Friday! Phew, there seems to be a lot of stripping going on in this house over the next couple of days!

Good afternoon, cold and damp here, started off frosty then as the frost started to melt we got a cold mist drop down on us, once that lifted it has been cold and damp, watching me he boys just now, and will be glad when this week is over, as I am required for extra duties due to,weeknights out shopping and also wrapping up of parcels, I have told them that they don't need to wrap mine, but was told "don't worry, there is nothing to wrap "
while on here there is a box of chocolates in front of me though I don't know what I am celebrating, was out feeding the birds this morning and have discovered that several of my leeks have been bent over, caused I think by a cat either lying on them or pushing through them when they have been frosted, I wish folks would keep their cats in their own garden, while talking of birds I was watching a wren earlier and it seems to like going over the raised bed covered with seaweed, I have two beds together, one covered with shredded material the other seaweed, and have noted it doing this before,must be more insects in it.
NS I hope everything is fine for you, and Jay, why do you need to iron bed sheets that are going on the bed and then covered, anytime I tell my wife that all I get is a shake of the head and told "your not real" and its the same with the stripping, if I suggest that I am told to get lost, women are funny, and hard to understand,
Right need to go and feed the boys, if you are going out, take care, and keep safe and smiling
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
