according to National Geographic.the December 3 full moon will be relatively close to Earth and will appear about seven percent larger and 16 percent brighter than usual.

I just popped out to look and there it is, shining away in an almost cloudless sky - with a few stars!!
So that's the real Sky news, none of this studio stuff.
It doesn't look all that big though, I've seen a lot bigger ones in my time
