Lottie, I found it helps if your new wives home is 50 miles away (along way in 1971) and your father was like mine who had great affection for my lady, so much so I knew he would always be on her side whatever. Therefore work through any problems and never ever go to bed on an argument.Potty by name Potty by nature.

Thank you all so much from the both of us,we had a wonderfull day,had cuddles with GG sons,the 2 year old ened up playing a game with GGdad,putting little bean bags into a hole,MR was sitting in the chair,and little one giving him 2 of the bags,they threw 2 each,then little one got them and shared again,it was so good to see the 2 gererations sharing time together,it touched us all,it was the little one that started it,was a real garden party,tables and chairs on patio,and some peeps on the lawn under the brolly,no sun,but the rain held off,it got chilly,i know i set myself up for more work,but it was enjoyable and well worth it,and the family helped pull the final finish to things,a body said how nice it was to see everyone again,my reply was,it was even nicer as it was not a flippin funeral thats got peeps together,had fun with the gran grown ups,just being plain daft as a brush,on nothing but a coffee,thanks again allXX
