  • Growing zones?

We have USDA growing zones or plant hardiness zones and I would assume that you have something similar.

What are your growing zones called and do you have the temperature ranges for them or a URL? I want to be able to relate our zones to your zones when I have certain types of questions.

    Thanks!

Here you go Plant Cold Hardiness Zone Map of the British Isles
It also shows the USDA zones for comparison.

Should have known! Put RHS in front of my search and there you go or should I say "and Bob's your uncle."?

Looks like you don't have an equivalent to my 5a and 4b areas. You don't get cold enough.

I remember we got down to -30*F once. That was over 20 years ago. I've just about recovered from that one.

Usually we don't get below about -20*F. -10*F is not unusual.

I suppose that if the topic comes up I'll just say it gets colder here than you get there and leave it at that.
