I was given a food hamper from a well known retailer for Xmas which contained, among other stuff, a Xmas cake (bleah) and a jar of brandy butter (which was OK but not used up), and a jar each of cherry and chocolate (?) conserve, and cranberry chutney (both of which I gave to my bro).
The cake has fed the birds for over a week, but the brandy butter was sitting in the fridge, opened and half used. What to do with the remainder?
I've made fudge. Brandy and raisin flavour, by adding the jar of brandy butter and chucking in a handful of raisins to my basic fudge recipe.
It tastes pretty good
What do you do with unwanted leftover food gifts?

A Christmas pudding made it's way to me in a parcel, and was greatly enjoyed, but no cake. And I love it. Slovaks don't have anything like it.
They don't leave anything
