Good evening.

Had a very busy and stressful shift at work. Didn't have time to have a break or a proper drink. Glad to be home now. Tea is on and I am putting my feet up with a drink(Shame It's not the alcohol kind)

Cartmel is a lovely village to visit but it has a race meeting on this weekend, so unless you want to sit in a huge queue for hours to see the races which are interesting in themselves, I would avoid it like the plague.

Morning all. Misty and mild here, most autumnal. Had a walk up Robin Hood Hill Yesterday (a Saxon burial mound in Notts) you could see for miles. Could see Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestersire.

Good Morning Flo & Bones et al - Lots of rain over night but the sun is trying it's best this morning here.

Joy of Joys office work today! half day drawing and half day typing up schedules of conditions & Awards!

Good news on the drop off and pick-up area for the allotment that I have been trying to arrange with the contractor building a housing estate next to us. They have said yes for a second time and I'm meeting with them and the council Friday to get specification and paperwork sorted out so the magic can happen.

Morning all. So much for a sunny day it wet and murky here so far. My dad has taken Han and my mom for their coach trip. They are off to Chester today. Han will love it.
Will and I are just on line at the moment. He can't decide where he fancies going or where to do lunch. Think he has got lunch to his favourite two places and his trip out is all weather dependant.

Yeh...it does feel like summer is coming to a close.
We had lovely weather yesterday but the cherry leaves are turning and dropping and I noticed the Hazel leaves are yellowing...

Still...it's a beautiful time of year so I'm still admiring the scenery!

Good morning, feels very clammy this morning, heavy rain and thunder and lighting through the night, I never heard it, when I told OH that she said no wonder with all the snoring, but I never heard her doing that either, for some reason she's in the huff with me for telling her that, but I can sleep through it as I have a clear conscience

Morning all, chasing my tail a bit this morning! We had a tremendous thunder storm last night (well 5 in the morning), torrential rain too but it's lovely and sunny now. It was a very warm humid night and it's still,very humid just now. Nicos, our cherry leaves have been turning for a couple of weeks now. I have had fun watching four young magpies playing on the bench under the tree...they seem fascinated by the red leaves. Treasure to them maybe?

Good evening, it actually turned out a nice day here, with plenty of sun, took OH out to a GC where we had sandwiches and coffee, she paid for the sandwiches, I got the coffees, (there should be a wee face with a halo inserted here) then up to watch they boys the youngest went out to play with one of his friends but was back in shortly after so I got serenaded with the guitar all afternoon have just came in from a walk so now for the greenhouse for a wee while, just in case I am not back on remember it will soon be the weekend, so cheer up and pass on a smile
