Good afternoon, it has been a right wet day here, attended a funeral earlier and got a right soaking, now home and heating on, I think I will go out to the greenhouse later and sow some winter lettuce, and rocket, oh and put a fire on as the plants might feel cold I still have some material to shred, and bags to fill, so hoping for some dry days again, the down side of that is OH wants the carpets cleaned, the first dry day she informed me earlier on today, will conveniently forget about that if I can. Well time for tea so off to see what she is making for me, have a good evening and keep well

Nice dry day here.
Popped into the doctors surgery to get a prescription and the nurse called me and said I msy as well give your flu injection while you are here. So thats done for another year.
Spent the afternoon emptying pots and stacking them away for next season.
Potted on all my lavender cuttings which have rooted in the last couple of weeks as I need to replace my hedge that has become too woody.
Made another lot of pickled jalapeno chilli.
Saved some more sweetpea and dahlia seed..
Starting to rake up the leaves that are falling now.
Always something to do in the garden.

Evening all. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello as I go online and see if I can find some onion sets at a reasonable price. Only found bulk amounts at a reasonable price on Ebay so far.

Just been munching our way through a huuuuge tub of raspberries we picked earlier today...really yummy!

It's been a really lovely day here-perfect for gardening! I'll try and share it with you all over the weekend

Morning all. Been awake for ages so decided to get up for a cuppa. Kettle is on if anyone fancies a brew.
Looks as if we have had quite a bit of rain again. So allotment might have to wait until this afternoon or tomorrow.
Might be a good excuse and go through my seed tins again. Haven't done that for at least a week.

He's only gone and managed to cut through our TV cable a couple of times whilst cutting back the weisteria!
Funnily enough both times he actually said that he'd have to watch out as the cable runs along right next to it...

Since I have woke up I've been working on my cunning plan to form all the site reps in the borough into a Site Rep Association, its interesting that the borough don't know where all there sites are as they say they have 36 and there are only 33 on the map! Alans Allotment: LBS Site Rep Assoc. I've found the missing Allotments for them

I've also discovered there are 7 trading huts in the borough 6 which are open to the general public so I've collated that information as well Alans Allotment: Allotment Trading Huts
