Free Photo Montage software

Hi all. I've been wanting to do a photo montage but all the software I've tried is very complicated and costs a lot.

A lot is heralded as 'Free' but it isn't until you've downloaded it you find out it isn't exactly free.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I looked at it. Its probably not possible, but I want a montage with about 50 photo's on it!

I've had a bit of play around with it and I think that any more than 10 photo's on an A4 page makes them too small to pick out detail.
The reason I want the montage is to stick on a noticeboard on the inside of my summerhouse. As well as acting as an aid to memory of progress on the plot I intend to enter the Councils 'Most improved plot' catagory in the summer shows.
My plan now is to print progress photo's off in 10's, laminate them, and pin them to a noticebaoard.

Yes, thats the problem Snadge. If you want a large Collage, all you can do is put 4 or 5 per page and tape them together.
