  • The two legged table

    As promised photos of my creation





    The top was already cut (found it in the back of one of our sheds). so basically all I've done is sand it, cut two lumps of branch for the legs, screwed them on. Followed by many many coats of yacht varnish.
    It was going to be a one legged table but because the top is cut at an angle the leg couldn't go in the centre and have the top level, hence the two legged table
    The chairs were found in another shed (no mine, and I did ask permission before I took them). So they just got a couple of coats of paint, and a flower

      SMALL PUMPKIN - Looks great. You had us stumped for a while but you wooden give anything away.

      Nice reveal.

        Its beautiful, Small Pumpkin. I love slices of wood! Have you counted the rings?

          Here is the picnic bench







          I built all the frame work, helped mill the top (a couple of years ago), helped run it through the plainer and helped with all the sanding. Followed by many many coats of Danish oil, I was aloud to that bit by myself as well ( he's very protective of his milled timber )
