Croydon's community saffron farm needs help!
If you've got some time free today or next weekend, please can you give Ally McKinlay a hand in de-potting, sorting and re-potting about 50,000 saffron corms? I went yesterday in the horrible mizzle. Today and next weekend look gorgeous. And the site is a lovely oasis in the middle of a sea of concrete and glass.
It's a fab project which has been given the all-clear to stay till Christmas now, but the task he's facing is vast.
Any help you can offer would be hugely appreciated.
