(...... I love that, JanieB)
And this morning I stopped to watch ..............................
.
... A portly hot-air balloon seemingly suspended high, high in the pearlescent blue sky
.
... Expanse of flaxen wheat, gently undulating like a lazy Mexican wave in the placid, waft of the breeze
.
... Perceptibly endless panoramic view from atop the trail ..... my eye lingered on the distant wind turbines majestically rotating their lengthy, limbs in unison - sun glinting off them ....
.
... The deep, low drone of a bee, busily working its way from flower to flower greedily drinking up the powdery pollen

The good thing about it was that you never saw any bairns after school in the evening or weekends as they used to try and get as far away as possible!
