This is our latest oldie - meet Otto. He is a very dirty, stinky and misunderstood 11year old. Just been in the vets for 2 days after throwing up yukky stuff and we have onlt had him 11 days.

Oh and he has a really drippy bum.



He was eating the flowers off the Hestia runner beans yesterday.

I caught one of mine chomping on a shallot that I had left out to dry the other day.

This is the same dog that as a puppy we caught with her nose in a bowl of chicken vindaloo We had a takeaway all decanted into bowls in the dining room, we left the room without clearing up. We hadn't realised that from an armchair in the corner she could leap on to the table, so up she popped, on to the table and scoffed all the leftovers!!

The armchair was swiftly moved and most surprising of all, the vindaloo had absolutely no affect on her!!

Dog has added more garden veg to her diet - went wild for cooked Swiss chard leaves - jumping up and down & following me around the kitchen. Also enjoyed the crunchy raw stems, but only sliced & hand fed as a treat, so veg patch safe for now....

I don't know how I missed this thread! We need more animal pics to go with the posts just so we can see who the offenders are.

My dog used to try to pull up the carrots in our old place. I often wondered why he liked lying outside in a particular area until one day I realised he was smelling the carrots and he was getting closer and closer to them.

I'm ever so slightly concerned about my indoor hydroponic cucumber plant now. I caught him with his nose in the plant smelling the baby cucumbers. He loves cucumber. I will whack his furry ass with a cucumber if he so much as looks at these ones the wrong way.

I've never caught my two helping themselves but they are rather partial to sprouts,swedes,carrots,marrow,cabbage,cauli,broccoli,beans, they're not to fussed about fruit though, oh and the cat loves cucumber!
