Hi Al, Hope you don't mind but I took your spinner & simplified it:

Materials Reqd: 1x2lt bottle, 1 length of Dowel or similar, 2 nuts & 2 washers.

Method:
Find the pivot point of the bottle & drill 2 holes to take the dowel.
Cut out sections of the bottle leaving 2 sails.
Screw 1 nut onto the dowel & add a washer.
Feed the bottle onto the dowel.
Add the 2nd washer & screw the 2nd nut on the top.

I've got a wooden black cat screwed on top of the plot gate but don't know if it deters birds or not..............

I like it, but out of all my creations I do like the larger Mk V four wing version. I now have 3 of them waiting to go down the allotment and I'm cutting wings and stacking them ready to make some more.

Below was my Mk 2 version and the fox proof cloche that was once a borg cube greenhouse that turned into solar tents before I got a real greenhouse to play with some time ago. But I think you were there anyway if you look at the photo.
