What you can't see in my fuzzy pic is the large pile of grow mags on the floor - £10 for 50+ mags including some old GYO. Most of them though are rival mags (hangs head in shame) but they are all about growing edibles.

I didn't take a pic of the top of the sideboard as it is shamefully cluttered.

The green dog toy is 'Sluggie'

My coffee table is exactly the same (interspersed with cookery books) - so is my bedside table and the lamp table in the lounge

I can't comprehend the concept of a bathroom with no books...

My dining room table is pretty cluttered, too - label printer, gardening 'diary/log book', seed packets, paper, pen, pencils, batteries, more seed packets, seed tin, needle and thread for when I eventually get around to sewing up the seam in my 'garden' trousers ~ oh and a birthday card ... for now ...

Everything gets bundled up and shoved in a heap in a cupboard when we use the table, then all bought back out again as I need to use them

                Don't they get damp?

Seriously, bathroom is, I think, the only room in the house with no reading material. Have much comfier seats in other rooms so don't want to linger longer than necessary.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

When I was sharing the house with male family members I always had a dream of putting a copy of War and Peace in there for them!

No clutter in my house.Books go on the book shelf and magazines are stacked in a neat bundle. Everything has a place of its own.

I am the same Bramble. Everything has a place. Even the coasters have to be stacked neatly and in the middle of my coffee table. I have a draw in my coffee table and all my GYO mags go in there.

Oh yes, forgot to add - my little side table in the evening ALSO has, a glass of red nestled in amongst the mags/books ......
