Uploading photos on an ipad - size?

iOS 9.3.1

My pics are about 1/2 to 2/3 size of containergardeners photos, all most odd and I can't understand it. It's not as though I'm not IT savvy, as a day job I'm rolling out Office 365 to a company of 50,000 staff!

I think it may be do do with the version number you are on. I'll ask admin.
I have t upgraded my iPad or my phone for a while...not enough memory

Ok.
As an example pic , same pic as before holding iPad wrong way.

To take a photo in portrait do you actually hold the iPad/phone upside down? Home button (square) on the top? Even if you do this your photos upload as landscapes.

That's the same size as containergardners photos! I swear that previous pics have been smaller! Mind you, this is still much smaller than others

Good morning all,

As you can see i just uploaded an image using an iphone this is a high resolution image.

Can I ask two other people to upload the a test image with iphones and Ipads so I can see if this is something that the forum does.
