Evening, well i've spent the whole day outdoors a bit of weeding, potting on and a lot of reading.

Evenin'all. Managed to rake all the chippin's from the plot paths. Turf is on order due to be delivered on Friday which sounds perfect as rain is forecast Weds & Thurs.

I have been to the allotment today shifting nine 3x2 slabs. I got dibs on them Managed to do a seating area for the kids and finish off a path by my compost bins. Back aches rather a lot now.
Dug up my Carlingford spuds up yesterday as I didn't want my furry little visitors eating loads again. Weighed them today and there is 71lb bagged up in the kitchen. Don't think digging all them up has helped my back either.

I'm home ! I never have to do that journey again! Which is good because I missed my ferry because some ar$e had a fag in the toilet on the train, didn't put it out properly and set fire to the toilet!! You couldn't make it up, could you!!!! I hate trains

Thank you everyone. It may take a couple of days ( and the rest! ) but I'm looking forward to looking after me and my garden and animals ( and the other half I suppose!). And spending much more time with all my friends ( that would be you lot! )

The bells...the bells...
Lovely thing to wake up to...except we forgot to put the chooks away last night and the 2 boys were crowing their little hearts out ...right outside the bedroom window

Well....OH volunteered () to run around and herd them back indoors ( they live in a converted pigsty) and lock 'em away again
Much quieter now!
They never go out before 9am ( 8 uk time) so all the gals were still sat inside watching the boys strut their stuff.another few minutes and they'd have all been outdoors.
Good job it's a dark, misty start to the day eh?

And so, that's our little adventure so far today...
* wonders what the rest of the day will bring ?
