Evening Peep's!

Not so much a rewarding day gardening wise, but a really nice peaceful n relaxing day catching up on gardening programmes n reading gardening Mag's which I seem to never have time to do these days!

SP! A very fitting way to say bye to "Nan n Grandad" I applaud ya Gal! Safe journey home!

And don't anybody get me on board of "Insurance Companies" What a waste of time!

Right! Away for the early start!

Well that's it for today - 2 plots of every item except I need 5 potatoes and we both need 1 rhubarb to make up a set of 3. I'll see what I can dig up tomorrow morning.

Evening all...afraid to say our heatwave didn't materialise either...Too many clouds...

Got plenty done though, so happy enough...
Might have a glass of red later, although out for a cycle in the morning...Maybe I'll see the sun...

Been decorating at my parents, then visiting dad, late night Chinese takeaway and a rubbish film.
Tomo OH is at a show so il potter the garden ..please let it be dry for once.

good evening Folks, we had some light showers here today, but a wind blowing all the time, so unlike Nicos who could sit outside and chill, if I sat outside i would freeze, took my wife to a G.C. wher I let her buy me lunch, and I bought some fuchsia plants at 50p each, so will take some cuttings and build the plant up a bit prior to storing for the winter, done some work in the greenhouse transplanted some lettuce and chard, I have put some into a compost/worm compost mix and some into a compost/6X mix so will see how they compare, I see VC was at the vet again, is it cheaper to buy you medecation at the vet rather than use a prescription Well I wish you all a good night, for those who can see the shooting stars, put a wish in for good weather up here, and I also note that the tooth fairy hasn`t moved with the times, HHs children expect �2. for a front tooth, I put mine under my pillow and get nothing, the tooth fairy dosnt take plastic Goodnight

Yippee! My cake is finished....and no it didn't take all day BUT note to self, when you have things to do don't go out for lunch and then over the neighbours for coffee
Pretty pleased...it's very difficult doing cakes for men....

Scarlet that cake is stunning .
Don't suppose you fancy a holiday on mull ( free B&B) so you could make one for the other half's birthday on the 18th ( he's going to be really old ! ). And he really likes cake .
My very last day in Rhyl. Trains and ferries don't meet up today so can't go home till Tomorrow. So I think I need to take full advantage of take aways, fast food places and cheapy shops in all there forms. While remembering I have to carry it home on the train!
( not the food obviously, I'm going to stuff my face with all that ! )

Scarlet...........Wow! Clever girl ....... I'd never, in a month of Sunday's be able to create such a creation as your cake...! Hope he enjoys every mouthful .....!

Feeling rather 'sluggish' this morning after last nights (late!) Indian meal ...... Our table was booked for 7pm (which is late for me!), and to cut a long story short, it was almost two hours before all our meals had been served .....glad we hadn't ordered starters...!

It's a bit overcast here just now, glad that wind has dropped .....

Well it's grey n overcast yet again, I can see a flower on my Clem durandii just opening, the cold wet weathers slowed things right up.
Hoping to sow some salads today and whatever else I can find and just have a "connecting to the earth " kinda day , visit dad later and another late tea.
