Morning. On a bit of a go slow this morning, getting concerned about how often I feel old these days. Maybe I should get myself a toyboy, that might help, lol.

I have a friend in Perth used to be a member of the chess club here - he's only a youngster 31 and unattached - do you want me to put in a word :-)

For those who have joined the Vine since the turn of the year, The GR - Gardener's Rest is a virtual hostelry where Rary masterfully avoids paying for a round of drinks, I enjoy the black stuff and loads of nonsense is typed and posted. I personally feel that the Gr should never close but we don't really have a say in that. Not that it matters because it always re-opens at Christmad and that is now only a few months away.

Now back to reality, furniture purchased today from a family firm in Aberdeen. The difference in the way they treat their customers is noteable. We also bought a new cooker and a new washing machine. Carpets next and then the big move which is coming closer and closer.

Money disappearing like snow off a dyke but we can't take it with us and we want to be comfortable.

As you live in Ayrshire I'm not surprised at your choice of Johnny Walker though with Deano buying you might have asked for Blue Label and made him dig deep - definitely the best I have ever tasted to date :-)
