GG, once I sat spraying our black cat with water from a mister bottle while she lay sprawled in front of a fan. The only time she ever tolerated ruffled fur, or water droplets... *g* Hope dogget is feeling better today.

Cooler and breezier today, thank goodness. May even emerge from our (damp, sandstone walled) house and take the 2yo out somewhere. Methinks forest park with play equipment. And cafe.

Anyone who wants the sun will have to come and get it themselves. And make sure you bring a pair of decent oven gloves, as it's pretty hot! Special dispensation for Nicos: I'll meet you half way. I'll bring the sun if you bring a piece of cake.

Have just spent two hours watering - no wonder the weeding doesn't get done. I'm exhausted already. Mid-morning nap might be in order!

Ready for some cake.
Re dogs and heat.... I get a damp towel to put on olive , she wanders off and lies down so her belly is on it (their cooling point), she has sat with a flannel on her head before. Il find pic. Starting using when camping .

Yesterday spent day with mum, she bought me some plants for my pots and front so best get them done today. Potted up her courgettes, tom pots and baskets.

Right a quick tidy and outside. Need to write a list, so much to do eeeeeek.

I'm drooling with anticipation over this here cake ..... I'm quite partial to carrot cake, coffee and walnut, Victoria sponge, chocolate ...... well, any really, with a big mug of strong, hot tea..!!!!

Good Afternoon folks...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Its a dull and cloudy day here today.

Afternoon Strawberry Patch and all It 25 inside and gawd knows what in the PT. Had to take lots of things out before they shrivel up. I've already blasted some of my seedlings which are going brown I love sun but this is too hot to get much done and got loadsa typing to be doing. I'd rather have your clouds today SP.

Susie please stop with the cake descriptions, you're making my tummy rumble! Can't wait to find out what you had later on. And make mine a strong coffee with splash of milk ta dear
