It has been an exciting work day in the big smoke - but only got home at 10pm so a long one. Had a tea of fried up left overs and then a bath (London is v grubby, I find).

Now daunted by potential scale of workload - it'll look more do-able after a night's sleep, I'm sure.

Pleased to go out into the courtyard when I got back to find the kale seeds I set a few days ago all popping up.

Morning all, a much better nights sleep was had. Due to exhaustion and gluttony I expect
Another morning at work for me, then I have to pot up a tray of trailing petunias when I get back.
The sun has just come out whilst I'm writing this. How long for us anyone's guess today

Well the fishing trip was very unsuccessful but it was still a very good day. Will definitely be trying that one again. It was a little unnerving having to wear a butt plate (holds the butt of the fishing rod, before anyone asks ) just to reel the weight in. But the weight was slightly over a KG and we were fishing in a 150m .
Anyway it's back to work to day (with a very sunburnt face).

Good morning all. Sun is shining. Busy day today. Off to the hairdressers this morning, lunch, and thrn collecting my grandaughter from school. Off out with friends tonight. May get to squeeze in some gardening between times.

Bit of a later start for me for a change

Lovely and sunny here...going to try and sort out the blackberry jungle this morning...and move on to the strawberry bed later ( when it's in full sun! )

This afternoon ....finally....looks like it's a visit to the plant nursery for the red geraniums! ( yes...I know!....perlargoniums!)

Good morning. Late on here as I've been watering the onions (takes for ever) and doing a bit of weeding. One carrot bed done, two (but not quite as bad) to go. Some of the onions weeded too. Tedious but necessary, I guess. Otherwise all relatively calm on the plot. Peas starting to show, no French beans or parsnips as yet.
