I have a couple of friends running in the London marathon tomorrow/ later on today
For one of them it's their 1st one.
Can't even start to say how much I admire all their efforts with training!

Brrrr , White garden this morning. Greenhouse got down to -3.2 suns on it now though
Will do some blue peter creating today and make some fleece /bubble wrap cover incase (when) we have more frost.

Morning all
Not much planed today but want to get lots done . One job that is definitely getting done is cleaning/ disinfecting the middle kennel (also know as sick bay and the nursery).

Big brother and SIL coming around for Sunday lunch today, so gotta get my skates on - do a bit of cleaning ... , prep lunch, then later this afternoon, hoping to get the lawn mower out. Providing weather stays dry .....

Morning peeps!

Air frost and a slight ground frost here this morning!

The greenhouse is warm still, although a bit 'fumey'.. I've opened the window a tiny bit..pretty sure it's just because the gas cylinder is running low!
I've got four more ready in the garage, really just need the daytime temperatures to sort themselves out..then I just need it on at night!

Quick breakfast then I'm off for some casting lessons!!

Morning all Haven't been on for a few days. Had my uncle's funeral Friday and that was a bit heavy going and then yesterday was trying to shift a headache. Today I feel much brighter and the weather even matches too

I love modern schooling because today I need to spend my Sunday making Egyptian costumes GRRR. Great fun for kids not so much fun for parents sorting things out. Luckily I have an old white sheet which will be chopped into a rough tunic shape. Hubby is helping out so I might need to make him one too - double trouble!

One of my broccoli seeds is coming up. Just on its lonesome. Hope the others follow suit. Nothing else is emerging but then we've had no sun for days since I sowed them.

Going to grab a much needed coffee, skim through whats been going on here and then crack on! Hope everyone has a good Sunday. Day of rest is certainly wrong

Happy Sunny Sunday'n'all from a beautiful warm Nestland, it got down to 2c overnight but alls well. The sun's got it's hat on so may go play in a while. Have a good one wherever you may venture.

Morning a sunny day here I've still got ice were the suns not touched but its fast melting, was 0.6c in the GH so I'm glad my toms are still indoors.

Gradually uncovering everything that got covered last night, what a faff
Won't be out in the garden today, although I might sow a few more carrots in a bucket later......

Thats the beauty of living on the west coast, greenhouse low of 6.5 . ignoring the frost warnings ( tbf the coast stayed green on the weather maps) i took a chance andleftmy toms there so think they can cope with that for one night , chillis came inthough.

Anyway, a stunning morning , no wind at all so hopefully a beautifull day to come.

This morning will be mainly taken up with a scooter ride to a 'greasy spoon' for a mahoosive fry-up then back the 'pretty way' aka getting lost in Chesire/North Wales.

Morning all,bit nippy here,sun showing so all looks good,just had a look in the poly,it was 0.1.5 c,got to see if i can shake a leg today,toms are still hanging on to life.

Due to go on a tour of an olive oil mill today, followed by a scout about at our local olive oil fair that's on this weekend. Will definitely buy olives. Black Bajo Arag�n olives, the best black table olives on offer in Spain. Might also buy a bunch of onion seedlings for planting out from one of the guys there. Good weather for onion planting coming up this week - damp!
