        You can tell I rarely watch the box. I'll probably forget it tomorrow too and I don't have anything to record it on. Thank goodness for Iplayer.

          I don't watch a lot either, which is why the digital recorder is so useful, as long as I find out about the program, which often doesn't happen. But I like to be able to fast forward the ads and rubbishy bits and repetitious bits, which often condenses an hour long program to about 20 minutes
          My old PC buffers Videos and TV progs too much to be watchable.

              If you install the iPlayer downloader you can download BBC programmes and watch them later without buffering. Watch the time limits as downloads won't play after they run out. As far as I can see only BBC does downloads.

              Thank goodness for the PVR.
