Evening all - very blustery out there - Petal keeps going outside to tell the wind off for making noises she doesn't agree with.

Fell over on a muddy allotment track on Friday - I have a suspected cracked rib now so finding getting out and about a bit tricky. Luckily I managed to arrange a play date for the girls - I brought my neighbour's Springer boy round and they had a great hour romping around playing kiss chase. Hopefully they will sleep well!

Percy cat was sitting on No1 son's windowsill today, a favourite spot where he can view the surrounding area. He then started growling. No1 son thought he could see next door's cat in their garden. No, he was growling at a window cleaner up a ladder on the other side of the road!

Am really stiff today.Can't believe how quickly you can get unfit...2 hrs gardening and an hour of pilates on Monday,3 hrs weeding and clearing yesterday....how pathetic...still, I know I need to start gently.
Today is swimming ,so I'm relieved it's set to rain all day

Windy, dark, wet and cold this morning. I've no go in me at all this morning. Though I've a busy afternoon ahead and Wednesday is piano lesson night for son no2. Why we couldn't find a teacher near us I don't know, pick up from school, round trip to the teacher and I have to wait takes me 4 hours didn't seem so bad in the light nights when I could take Stan. Roll on Spring

Morning all, I'm up and waiting for 8.30 to come round. That is the magic time that all of the ill in my locality call the doctor to get one of the few emergency appointments.
Bet it will be engaged.
Rain hasn't been as bad as we thought it might, winds still blowy. Apart from the docs, I am not going anywhere today - again.
Hope you feel better soon Jeanied, I always laugh at Petal telling the world off

Sun is back shining but it is a tad chilly, waiting for the log man to come as we have run out of logs, but will light a nice fire when he does and get comfy and sow some seeds

My friend brought us two massive bags of freshly picked oranges, cannot wait to squeeze some of those.

been very wet overnight but rain is orf for the moment. 4 degrees out there but doesn't feel that cold. Off to Q&B shortly. Discount day . I have a trade card but do get frustrated sometimes when there is in fact no trade discount.

meant also to say, will be going via the Council tip. Three out of four tins of masonry paint turned U/S so they need to be disposed of. Leaving them out in the frost doesn't help that I suspect

Good morning all. Very windy here with squally showers.
Unfortunately I have to go out in it. Off to see the eye specialist to get the results from my Visual Field Test to see if I need a change of medication.
Oh, and I forgot to say, that will be €80 and €60 on Monday for the V.F.T.

Morning all, dark and damp today! DONT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU ARE HAVING BREAKFAST,

A very unpleasant night was had here with our wee dog...the one who is supposedly unwell. Vet told us that the lump on his behind was cancerous and nothing could be done about it. Yesterday he was a bit sad looking and last night the blooming thing burst. Looks to me like an abcess. Took us ages to stop the bleeding and clean him up. Will spare you the gory details! After it burst he was back to his cheery looking self. Trying to get an appointment with another vet in the practice but like NS's doctor the phone is always engaged! The things we do....!! Bleugh!
Anyhoo hope you all had a better night than us and also hope you have a lovely day!

Off out later to OH mum's for dinner and then later Slimming world to be weighed. Just hope I have not put anything on from eating a take away last night.

Just hope the rain goes away when I go out later.

Only spent a fiver in Q&B, well �4.50 after discount. Our big store was flooded earlier this month and their stock of colour charts was ruined. Wasted journey as that's really what I was after
