I'm here with a piece of string not long enough to even dip into the musical byways tonight.

It's been one heck of a week - I've plied my trade well (inc. a day in London - although I didn't see Trip), on the front foot, and have the glimmer exciting things ahead. By desk jockey standards, anyway.

Big bro hasn't confirmed our usual early run tomorrow, but what's the betting if I don't set the alarm, he'll phone....

We have had a fox in our garden for the past 4 hours which has been screeching .
I think it's also been hunting for mice/ voles as we gave a large tumbling rock wall where Hibou cat often sat patiently ready to pounce. That's where I think she found the baby stoat she caught.

Anyway , I'm wide awake, it's really foggy out there and I think I'll make a brew...anyone fancy one?

At the moment it is only once every three weeks but it should be changing to a four week rotation so it's not too bad. I also get every Monday off. I have a good team of kids on this weekend so I shouldn't get too stressed, hee hee. Now I justhave to decide what daily special scone to make and get the parsnip and ginger soup on when I get there.

Oh...and have you noticed it's getting lighter earlier?...brill eh?I used to hate going to work in the dark....bad enough coming home in it , but mornings?...eeek

I was saying only last week to OITC about the lighter mornings. By about 8am you can see the light sky. Winters are not good for me, especially after a poor summerasI have SAD (I'm a saddo ) so I have a Lumie alarm clock and a light box for a pick me up. Works wonders on a dark morning.

Is the Lumie light enough to sew by?
