Finally decided it was too sunny to be stuck indoors, so we went to Market. ( there is one on most days near us)
Came home with a black pudding , Mirabel fruit tart and some yummy cheeses.
Still lovely and sunny...and ya know what? Even though it's only -1C there is warmth in that there sun if you stand still long enough.
A promise of things to come!

Sadly not rary....I adore haggis.
This is French black puddn...much richer and less fatty than the British type.

UK ones apparently by law have to be made with pasturused blood.
The French ones are made with fresh stuff.
Our UK specialist butcher told us this!

Well, that's the hard part of Thursday dealt with, so it's downhill from here
Bought a Maxibright T5 Lightwave last year which I never actually set up, so need to get it organized soon as I have lost a lot of window space due to the arrival of new blinds before Christmas...
They do make the room look great so I shouldn't grumble, but I need to replace that space

Evening all. Well my quiet day turned out to be a trek out. I have been to Bromsgrove, Stourbridge, Kidderminster and then back to Bromsgrove.
So I haven't even had chance to plant my seeds yet.

Good evening Folks, it has been a bitterly cold, wet day here, the rain has now stopped, and feel as if the temperature is rising, so hopefully get some work done tomorrow, (I mean real work, garden work not housework) I scattered rock dust over some of the beds this morning, still not sure if it will make a difference, but I hope it works, I got the bags at B/Q for �3.00 for a full bag plus an open full bag should have cost about �13.00 I also have a bag of dust from a local quarry where there are 48 different minerals (79 in the bought stuff)I could go on about the lack of minerals in our veg. but thats for the rant thread. Well I will wish you all a good night, I think I will try a drink of barly and mineral-rich water which has been sitting in an oak cask, I may have to sample it several times to check for minerals, so if you are up and out early say before 11.30am please go quietly. Goodnight

I know I've been awol for far too long, but I'm finding more time gradually, and shall be back with a vengeance very very shortly!

I am however, having a great deal of trouble changing my profile avatar.
After resizing a photo to the correct size and then using the link from photobucket, I'm getting a message of 'unable to create temporary file'
Has anyone else had this? Could just be me!

I get to collect my car leater on today...Yey!
They have found more things wrong which can be sorted ( thank goodness for diagnostics eh?), but nothing urgent or dangerous which can't wait a few more months.
Think I best dust off the old credit card!

Seems to be doing wet drippy skies out there at the mo...so no frost then.

We're off to see Star Wars Sunday evening...in English...can't wait!...anyone else seen it?

No other plans...never short of things to do inside or out here!
