Stumbled outside in the dark with a torch to see what the ladies were up to, to make sure they had found their way to bed...........Well what i wonderful sight to see opening up the old chicken coop to see all 9 snuggled up tight together, i thought i was going to have a big problem but they all seem so happy, bless their little kind off dinosaur feet i think i could squeeze in another 20 in that tight space, no need to have rush around making another house that they will never go into !!

Oh and I'm happy that I can go shopping tomorrow and get some windowsill planters to start my toms off as the chilli's and sweet peppers are getting lonely.

Oh and my aubergines.......................don't mind if they don't grow as I don't like them but the packet looked pretty.

A lovely Lady came to pick up a commission today. Nervously I had charged her what it should have cost, instead of my usual 'mates rates' as I don't know her, and, to be frank, I'm tired of spending 10-15 hours on a drawing, and getting paid peanuts.

She gave me an extra tenner!!

And asked for a fist full of business cards!

I have a mate, an art teacher who does wonderful pencil drawings of animals. About 12 years back I asked him to draw my Akita he charged me �20, I gave him thirty and some advice. "Never charge less than �60 ever again"

I am now the only one who gets mates rates. Trouble is at this time he is teaching at a Uni in.............China.

Not the prettiest..............not the biggest............but it was more or less ripe and got sliced into a couple of G & Ts.

I am so pleased with my little tree. Another 8 nearly ripe.
