Making the most of this weather...

I now have 2 large bags of home-made black magic (compost) ready for next spring. Again it has turned into lovely crumbly stuff. I blame that on the chicken bedding and the compost activator that I use. Now have another bag on the go so will have a "bag in the bank". Today I will be carrying on with the digging over of the bed where the toms, aubs, corn etc., were. I will also be planting some more cabbage plants that are screaming to be let out of their pots. Must get as much done as possible today as tomorrow we are in for a dammed good soaking (according to the weather forecast). Wish me luck

The rain has arrived - only drizzling at the mo though. The downpour is now due to happen tomorrow.
I did manage to get at least some of the bed dug. Then sprinkled some home made compost over it and then topped it with some pine-needle compost. Knitting, patch-work, housework and baking for me today then
