Dear chums, I'm really touched by all your happy birthday wishes. Thank you so much. I promise I will post more when things settle.
It has been quite a time for me and mine this year. Mr Noosner's and my move went fairly smoothly but my Dad's move was a bit of a nightmare, mainly because he has started to get confused about things (no wonder at 92). We are still not out of the woods but at least he is in a safer, warmer environment now. Unfortunately the sale of his old flat fell through and there are problems attached to various aspects of the leasehold - something I am trying to sort out, not very succcesfully at the moment!
On the plus side, the new house has a greenhouse!!!!! I have been amazed at how great it is gardening with a greenhouse even at the tail end of the year. Lettuce, tomatoes and chilli peppers are still coming, and now I have spinach and chard on the go in there as well.
