Cover the rhubarb crowns intended for forcing with dustbins with a weight on top to stop them blowing away.

January 2017 must remember to build raised bed for square foot backwards christmad bed

1) Keep sticking my hand down the drains to clear them of silt, leaves and snails which still get in despite the covers on them.
2) Make some sort of ditch to drain the water out of my greenhouse.
3) Prune the tops off my roses so they don't get wind-rock.
4) Take some time to wander round on a sunny day to look at all the new shoots coming up, listen to the birds, have a ponder on how to improve certain areas, and revel in how lucky I am to be able to have such a wonderful garden with all its promises to come.
