Will I decided to not be like that frog below and went for a spin on the bike.. Hadn't been out for a few weeks, so decided not to go too far.. Did 58k, so happy enough with that..

I will obviously undo alot of that by having some nice creamy pints of Guinness tonight

It's a little sook - it likes nothing better than to curl up round your neck and snuggle up and go to sleep - grandkids love it to bits

Evening all. It was a gorgeous afternoon here so I cut my new lawn and then spent a solid 4 hours down the allotment, mostly clearing and tidying, deadheading and weeding. It's lovely to be out and about in this sort of weather, long may it last.

Thanks for all your good wishes. I'm on a three week chemo cycle, it works out that week 1 I am good for nothing, week 2 I can do easy stuff, week 3 I am almost back to normal. I'm now just coming into week 2 of cycle 4 out of 8 cycles.

I found a handful of strawberries to go with the autumn raspberries, so a nice bowl of fruit and cream went down beautifully for supper tonight.

Shen, your kitten is lovely. My moggy is an old lady now. She still likes the occasional game but prefers cuddles now.

RosieP, I hope you gave that David Cameron a piece of your mind on behalf of all of us!

...I was belting round the lanes of Staffordshire yesterday (on two feet) with a number on my vest - according to the G@rmin, a couple of MINUTES inside the best time I had hoped for. Waiting for the official result before celebrating!
