I'll be doing a bit of re-roofing over the log store shortly & have ordered some of this. Any idea of the best way to apply it. I was going to use a roller but from what I've read, it's a bit thick..............a bit like me really.........

Easiest way get it to a workable consistency without actually using thinners is to put the tin in a steel bucket & then half fill the bucket with boiling water (think of a ban-marie
), if you have a camping gas stove you can stand the bucket on that is even better 
remember to remove the lid of the paint can BEFORE putting it in the bucket.

My hubby STILL finds little flecks of it on his gloves/boots/in the garage and the last time he used it was about 3 years ago because he wasn't as careful with it as he should have beenComment

Wear throwaway everything. the stuff does dry but when it warms up it will stick to anything else and ruin it. several pairs of nitrile gloves worn at once allow the soiled top pair to be removed whilst still having hand protection.
Do it on a warm day having warmed the tin for an hour or so in hot water to thin the consistency.Comment
