Good job I am not at any of your houses or all those poor unloved gadgets would be long gone to the charity shop.
If it saves �0.68 a day it will pay back in 5 years. Apart from possible electricity saving, for anyone being paid 68p is not very long standing around time - assuming �10 per hour its 4 minutes per day time gained. Probably the time to boil just one kettle. Yeah, I thikn that would do it for justification!
