Potty "There we are madam dinner is served. Freshly fried cod in beer batter, chunky cut golden chips, mushy peas and brown bread and butter. Tea?"

SWMBO "It looks lovely....................where did you get it? ...........Madam?...........Well I know for certain you did not cook it, but you haven't been out...............Where?"


Potty "Well it was like..........................Where?..........I was just about to...........Where?

"Well err.........Oh OK Mike was on the way in and I knew he would pass our favourite chippy so I err ..... rang him and he sneaked it in to me."

Ha! Took Charlie to my allotment today, in his crate. He was sooo good, he settled down and went to sleep after having a cuddle and licking one of my allotment neighbours half to death. So got more done than I expected.

Getting into bed after a very long day

Kids are off to grandma and granddads for a sleep over OH is at work so I am home alone this afternoon. Fantastic. Can plant some more seeds, channel flick for a bit and then go to allotment, if it dries up enough, and do a bit of pottering about.
Best of all kids are back to school Monday, OH is at work and they have forecast quite a good week weather wise

OH has decided today is a good day for us to knock down the wall between the kitchen and utility room today!

Yey!...I love smashing things up and making a mess!

( beats doing the domestic chores I'd almost persuaded myself I had to get round to finally doing)

After years of trying and failing I have managed to get celeriac to germinate whoop whoop. Now I just have to see if I can get it from the microscopic to plant out size - I'm not holding my breath.

Yet another one - I'm spoiled today....
Collected and installed a beautiful Otpoint frost free freezer to go under the shelf in the pantry (our kitchen is so small we have no where to put a fridge freezer so have the freezer in the pantry and a fridge balances ominously on top of a work surface) anyhow the freezer is in perfect working order, spotlessly clean, 10 months old and......... it was FREE off a recycle site. Thank you to Andy for giving it to us.
