It's monthly for both. As well as quaterly for both. I asked and he couldn't give me an answer. He just fobbed me off telling me I am in debt and owe them money. Going to get the OH sort it tomorrow.

That's no excuse for that guy to fob you off. Just hope you can get it sorted. We pay a set amount every month but it works out that we owe our supplier a bit of money for gas and electric in the winter but it balances its self out in summer when we use less. Cant see why they are being so difficult.
Make sure you have up to date readings for them as well.

I was planning to go to the allotment today, but as I was getting ready the postman delivered the outdoor light switch I'd ordered. So I spent the day in the back garden instead, laying cable and installing the outdoor lighting I'd bought a couple of weeks back.

It was a bit hot and it took longer than I planned, but it's done now. All ready for summer, all I need is some friends to entertain!

They even got my electric meter reading wrong. It was to high. Soon sorted that out. Will get it sorted tomorrow. I aint paying the quaterly bill at all. I've been given set payments a month so that's what I am going to do.

We are monthly via the Internet with Ovo and we pay a monthly direct debit and they bill us. We want us to be in credit so they give us 3% interest. It works quite well. We give them a reading every month.

Morning all. Looks as if its going to be really warm here. Have already potted on 15 tomatoes think my next lot are nearly ready to be potted on. So might try and get that job done this morning with my assistants.
Planning to do allotment tea time ish when its cooled down a bit.

Morning All.
Such a restless night after certain people came in at 3am, slamming doors and singing - not sure what the song was as it was in a foreign language.
Very changeable weather here. one minute the sun's out, the next its bucketing down and the next minute its doing both.
The good news is..............my blackcurrant, raspberry and apple jam has set. I've lost 3 days of my life trying to make jam. At least it tastes good. I'll never make a domestic goddess

VC - well done on the jam front but for me life is just too short (and after trying several times and creating yucky fruit sauce) to solidify fruit.

Martin - The light looks good. You will be able to moth watch while you sip your G&T (I prefer Ales particularly Black Doudlas - if only I could get it from somewhere)

Morning everyone...wet and windy here today. It's so bad even the dogs are hibernating, I had to drag the little one out of bed to give him his epilepsy medicine and he was not happy! Had to be forced into the garden too! Haven't seen his older brother yet and I don't blame him! If anyone has sunshine, would you like to share please...it's been pretty cold too. This should really be in the rant thread shouldn't it! Have a great day all!
