Evening all, had a day in the garden today. "Nearly" finished my raspberry beds, I seem to have a few nettles running through the middle of the beds. B@ggers to get out . Stans feeling a little under the weather, I made the boys chicken gougons for lunch, cooled off the fat and put a lid on the saucepan. Slid it under my butchers block while I was sowing some seeds ( yes, in the kitchen) and then heard some slurping sounds Stan had pushed the lid off and drank half of the oil he threw up half an hour later, just as I had a visitor.

To be honest, I'd prefer the box Hazel, you can see what's going on...I hate being shut in.

Oh - and for those tuning in for cat news (and I appreciated that this is quite a small subset of the Vine, possibly limited to me), I took the white cushion out the cat bed, and put it in the box.

Domino cat went in the bed (sans cushion, just the mesh bottom) - he was to all intents and purposes lying on the filing cabinet. He was in there for about half an hour before retiring to the settee for the rest of the day.

I think you should start a thread called "Cat TV" ...........I just hope that Cat TV and Fish TV don't tune in to the same programme

Just got back from the theatre, went the watch a free screening of Anything Goes. It was rather good really enjoyed it. Well worth watching if it comes to your local theatre.

Morning all, GG is coming for a three night sleepover at Nans as its half term, yippee. Grandad knows that the kitchen has to be operational whilst she's here, she loves to cook with me.
Bought units yesterday, the flat packs are here in the lounge. The handles cost a bladdy fortune!
I get used to where things are and then hubby moves them again. It's like indoor camping, very basic cooking lol.
Going to be a glorious sunny day, so sheets are going on the line.

I think you're getting close Hazel, so it's either the cushion Dom doesn't like or he's playing some game you don't know about

Good morning, only just got up. Still half a sleep. I feel so lost not having a garden right now. I had things to do in it when I had one and now I have nothing to do to keep me busy.
OH is off work again today, so he will prob be driving me crazy ha

Looking absolutely bl@ddy gorgeous out there already...Im gonna be pretty scarce today, I got the last raspberry bed to tackle and then its on to the blackcurrant row I love it when you can see the turn in the weather. No school run either cos its half term.
