Hello all...still no internet so just a quick visit. Running out of mobile data so won't be in for very long! We have had some terrible storms over the past few days but thank goodness we have managed to miss any damage being done! Hope you are all well and will pop in for a quick catch up in a couple of days!

What a shame, been missing your chatter! I've had trouble with my router and it's no fun using the mobile...too slow

I'm shattered today, cake class this morning, vet appointment with Stan this afternoon, shopping and then a trip into Bath to get the boys. Took me a while...a huge lorry with a JCB on the top decided to take a short cut (obviously using the SatNav) he blocked the whole road up, couldn't turn around as it was too big and couldn't go over the canal bridge either!! Really made me mad..why don't they read the weight limit signs?

Evening All. The wind seems to have calmed down here, but it's awfully cold. Eldest Golden Girl has been to see us this evening for a couple of hours. She can't come to stay overnight anymore as she works Saturday and Sunday, so it was lovely to chat with her, she's like a ray of sunshine Enjoy your evening

I have quite a bit of work to catch up on this morning I really can't be bothered this morning. Stan had the last of his injection yesterday so a few more days with just the garden and he can venture out. He's been a bit of a nutter this morning...

Morning all! It's bright and sunny here.

I'm not stuck behind the desk all day, though - mum's had a hearing test and the next step towards getting hearing aids is apparently for me to go along for an hour too (I'm guessing so that they can adjust the hearing aids to my 'pitch'?)

Anyone got experience with hearing aids?

Morning all. Done my duty visit to my mom and dads. My mom has decided to knit hats for the local market place where she sells all her cakes and jams. So the other day she gave me a hat and asked me to do some form of pattern on it for her. So I've done that and she is very pleased. Then she told me between cakes and jams she thinks she can knit at least 3 hats a week for me to sort out. Lucky me.
Have said we could have a load of snow today/tonight. Hope not. Hopefully the Malvern Hills will stop it getting to us.

G'Moooooooooooornin' Peeps! We have no wind - YAY! We also have SUNSHINE - YAY!

However, they have forecast SSSSSNNNNOOOOOOWWWWW for tomorrow, so fingers crossed! And, apologies to those who get some but don't want it.

My lurgy has relapsed a little, so I'm back on the tablets, and still have a throat and voice like sandpaper. I'm not speaking, as it makes me cough. Hope you're OK, Nickers, and any others who may be suffering.

It is a bright sunshiny day here and the robin is sitting proudly at the top of the cherry tree singing his little heart out.

Meanwhile my two hooligans are trying to figure out a way of chewing the arm off the sofa - I wouldn't mind if it was just one but they are ganging up on it and tugging from two sides

Last night I went to my first adult education class ... now up until recently I went on many many work related courses so it was a lovely change to do a cake decorating class!

We learned making royal icing last night, making a piping bag and piping out different shapes and designs with different nozzles. Next week we get to cover and decorate a real cake!!!

Hello all!

Carpets & underlay delivered this morining!!! Just need to find somone to fit it. We bought it offline saved well over 50% cutting out the middle man. We haven't had carpet for 3 years going to be a real treat once it's down. Just need to finish the work in the hall & landing.
