Anyway, I'm part of the No Thanks to Snow Group. Don't mind if I never see snow again. If I had a 4 wheel drive vehicle and the urge to play it might be different - but I don't. Just a pair of wellies for transport in snow.

I love snow but only if I'm indoors looking at it through the window.

Good morning all,snow is best kept away,it might look nice,feel nice underfoot when shallow and crisp,makes snowmen ext,BUT,it causes bloomin caos,if only it would fall on the local parks for the kids to play with,yesterday was a lovely day,not a blemish in sight ahhhhhhhh,hope your all well

Well, Hubby has wrapped up warm, and is now tackling the front swivels on my Landy. His choice, so don't have a go at me! We bought it dirt cheap (like two-thirds what it was worth) so we knew it was a 'working project.' Funny how someone will spend hundreds on cosmetic things, but neglect vital running gear...

I am now dressed, and have laundry on the go. I guess I'd better dig out the Vacuum and try and remove some of the dog hair, although, it makes fab insulation in this weather, so I'm in two minds really.

Keep the dog hair in a bag G4, then in late spring empty the bag onto your lawn, it will make a great lining for nesting song birds

What is all this talk of sner ? will I get to test the new M&S tyres on my ........ scooter this will be my first winter without 4WD in over 25 years

Morning all! Happy St Stephen's day.

Mum due round shortly for a re-run of yesterday (minus pressie opening and complicated dinner) - so we will be playing scrabble, doing the Christmas jigsaw, eating cold turkey and chips (veg already prepped - how organised am I!) and eating chocs.

Just going to get the sherry glasses out. Not sure why it is acceptable to drink sherry for elevenses? Something to do with vicars, perhaps?

Only problem with that Hazel is that you can't dunk biscuits in Sherry like you can a mug of tea

Aren't there some sweet biscuits that are used in desserts? Can't think what they're called but I can "see" them. Like flat fingers and crisp and sweet.

It's been a nice relaxing morning: our guests haven't got up yet.

Well, I've cleaned the kitchen and bathroom floors (and ceilings - ruddy cobwebs!). Have put my new smelly taper thingies in the loo area, and the whole bathroom now smells like someone else's clean house! Fab!

Yes please, I need a warm up! Just come back in. Went out to see the horses at the Avonvale hunt Boxing day meet at Lacock. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but they look fantastic all together dressed up.

Just been shopping with my mom...not bought anything really , but she thoroughly enjoyed drooling around the prepared food section at Leclerc's!!
