Morning the suns out so I'll be finally getting my runner beans in today.

We're just back from Blackburn where we stayed with friends last night. Went for a walk this morning and twisted my ankle in a ditch and fell flat on my face! I had to lie there, in the mud, for about 10 minutes, recovering. Couldn't really say why - everyone was trying to help me up but I just thought getting vertical seemed a very bad idea!

It isn't too bad now though I think I'll have a big bruise to show off tomorrow.

I'd have stayed on the floor as well no point rushing to get up until you felt right, Hope you're not to sore today.

I've had a cracking day with a new PB for the GMFR course - hurrah!

When I first meet my OH he had a guitar in most rooms and mouth organs everywhere - Including the side pocket of the drivers side door for when he was stuck in traffic jams

Mr Pots seems to have a collection of mouth organs I'm sure he has one in every pocket plus a couple next to his PC.

I've been out playing with the chooks- just needed to hang about whilst the broody had a bite to eat and drink and do her no 2's.

These are even darker than the previous lot!...I'm sooo excited I can hardly contain my delight...these are going to be a very long 21 days!...oh...20 now!

Morning. Flippin cold breeze here today. Just dragged the kids up to school so peace and quiet here at long last
Going to get the vac out and whizz it about down stairs then going to try and do a bit of weeding outside. Well will do if the rain keeps off.

It's bright here and not as cold as yesterday. Looking at the forecast it looks like we're finally on an upward trend weather-wise. About time!

I didn't manage to get down the allotment yesterday so I'll definitely be going there today, see what's what. I had a nice lie-in this morning so I'm not organised yet.

I wonder where I can get cheap mouth organs for emergencies? Might try the 'bay...

It seems that Mr S and Mr Pots have plenty for everyone, Martin! We had a mouth organ at home growing up - no idea where it came from, and I can't remember any of us getting any more than a wheeze out of it!

Good morning, I was up early this morning. Didn't have time to write on here. Had to get ready and go catch the bus.

Nice and sunny here but it's saying on the news that it's going to rain and have strong winds this afternoon.

Just making some dinner now because I wont be able to have anything to eat until late tonight. I have got my dinner round soon and then straight after that I am doing a sit in for 2 hours having a chat with a lady.(Get paid for this!) and then straight back on to doing tea time round before coming back home.

Just had a thought about Mouthorgans - as you do Could they be used as an aid to losing weight? If, every time I fancied a doughnut I pulled out my emergency mouth organ and had a few wheezes, would I overcome the urge to eat?
I'm sure I have one somewhere too...........wanders off, looking ...............

Trouble is VC all that energy trying to get a tune might drop your blood sugars so you will have to eat some carbs!
It could be useful in the supermarket though as you could blow it to get the dozies out of the way while they park their trolleys in the middle of the aisle and have a 20 min chat on their mobile about how terrible so and so's new hair do is!

Its worse when they stand there chatting to their next door neighbours that they've chatted to already that day or the person they've sat to on the bus. You say excuse me and they just ignore you. Sorry should be on the rant thread.

Does this rate as the most miserable weather for 1st June ever? Heavy showers rattling down all afternoon, and trees belting back and forth. My heating has kicked in on the thermostat too

I may have the prize for the most unseasonal tea - and I have mackeral salad. Feels more like stew weather!

Just popping in to say 'Hi' before going off to Pilates. Looks like I have a few more days of freedom, then more work is going to be thrown my way. Ho Hum!

I know this isn't the correct place, but would some kind soul like to recommend which asparagus crowns to buy, please? I adore the stuff, and each year I swear I'll get some in the autumn, and each year I forget. I looked on-line recently, and confused myself - it's not difficult to,confuddle my brain nowadays lol.
