SWMBO comes from Buxton in the High Peak. For a small market town (well it was in those days) they had a fantastic venue in the Pavilion Gardens, next to the opera house. All the major groups played that gig from the Beatles and Stones down with folks coming from miles around to see them.
Watching a TV program the other night 'Sounds of The Sixties' when she confessed she ended up with a piece of Dave Davis's (Rays brother) trousers when the Kinks played there. Apparently the girls got them off him on stage then divided them up into pieces.
Told you these High Peak lasses were something else.Potty by name Potty by nature.
