Right ho my one & only serious guess,Clip the device clamp (on left) into the bracket (on right) then slide the clip over an old rake handle (or similar),push the rake handle into the ground near where you are working to hold you phone where you can hear it but safely out of harms way.

Obviously , when the sun isn't shining , the parasol would close due to lack of power- so if it was raining, it wouldn't need to be open.

The downside of that of course is that in the rain, the fish would get wet

Right Got it! your setting up the pole that a rotating solar pannel will go, to run the pump, to filter the water, to see the fish. You just haven't made the solar pannel yet
