Forum hijacking !!

Are you as fed up as I am with the increasing amount of forum Hijacking by adverts that won`t go away? I hate it, gets in the way of posting on threads and is as bad as getting blight/greenfly etc..I have ADDBLOCK , POPUP KILLER, neither does what they`re suppose to

I use Adblock and don't have a problem with adverts.

You must have the special version that `works` mine must be the version made by the advert makers
Could it be that having two blockers cancels each other out ?

I have ad blocker too and it works for me.

No idea - but try using just Adblock and see what happens

Adblock for me on my android, you may need to configure your wifi conection

Adblockers will only block adverts hosted on the webpage you are looking at. If you are seeing lots of pop-ups, pop-overs, etc then you have an ad server type program installed. These are sneaky bits of software that you pick up either by ticking (or not unticking) boxes on websites or they are covertly installed from websites without your knowledge.

You need to make sure you have decent anti-malware types software. CCleaner and malwarebytes are good bits of software to be on your PC.

Do you mean the advertisements on these pages? Top, middle, bottom and side ...

Annoying, but it's these that keep the forum going - and free.
