Nah, still wouldn't have red, just couldn't do it.Originally posted by mothhawk View PostI care a lot about colour. I don't want silver, (or grey, as it really is), white, or pale blue, because in bad weather, especially fog, they are very hard to see (I was going to say they disappear but that's a hole VC or BB or BillH will immediately fill, so...). So my car is bright red. The safest colour to have, I'm told.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Remember reading that once, strange how things change but to be honest I find it strange that colours are supposed to be gender specific at all. Was very confused to discover that they now make pink Lego for girls, didn't realise that by using the normal stuff as a kid I was in some way crossing the gender divideOriginally posted by bearded bloke View PostHistorically pink was for boys IIRC

It may be sexist and it also may have started out as a marketing ploy but you won't get many young Mums dressing their baby boys in pastel pink baby grows today......Originally posted by Alison View PostPerhaps as well I never fell for that sexist rubbish

My Son and my daughter loved lego with a passion, now she's 36 she suggested we have a lego afternoon only the other day. I quite fancy it actualy.
