I've actually just managed to take a video with him shaking and a little yelp whilst laying next to me to show the vet as my wife said he seemed fine last night but I know he isn't

Everything is pointing to back or neck I just fed him he seems to really want it but each time he tries to bend his head over he gives out a yelp/cry going to try and video this to show the vet too

You may need to hand feed him today, if that is the case.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

He has now eaten I had to sit on a chair and hold his bowl at his chest height at least now I'm seeing signs that I can tell the vet later

I've had that with one of my dogs, had to put his food bowl on an upturned bowl so that he didn't have to put his head down. Can't remember the cause but think it was a pulled muscle.
                    Hope yours recovers soon.

Yeah I've googled it and it all points to that!
Hopefully the vet today can give him something to at least relax him

At least he's eating - that's a really good sign. Hopefully he'll feel better very soon.

What a worrying time for you all. Hugs to the hound and fingers crossed that he has just twanged something that will settle down in time.
