Just had 3 crumpets with butter and Marmite I know they were crumpets because that's what it said on the label.

VC, I confess to making some 'flapjacks' last weekend, in a mad moment, didn't have the right size tin, so improvised and spread mixture between 2 tins, don't know What went wrong,but even the birds couldn't manage them!DottyRComment

I bought some more ... tried marmite on them ... not bad.
I still prefer marmite on wholemeal toast, and jam or marmalade (or just plain butter) on crumpetsComment
