I love the taste of pheasant we're having it tomorrow in a casserole with chorizo and Serbian beans.

have not ventured out today,been in the kitchen,messing with washing ,preping spuds for the freezer,and experimenting with kale,albenga and carrot crisps,mmmm here's some to share,next thing is try the oven,i can get more in,i sprayed with canola oil,never go back to olive,it realy is no stick and browns wedges great,no not got shares,just sharing my new found treasure,

I made some kale crisps the other day but I had the oven a bit hot because I was baking bread but those that weren't burnt still tasted OK.

OH took me out to let off steam had a coffee and watched him eat the cake. He's allowed, he cycled 50 mile again this morning, he only allows himself one day a week off! Now I'm rushing to get the lemon tart out of the oven so it can cool before going to friends, fizz already chilling I'll let you know how I get on with that pheasant....

VC....no idea if the pups came last night....hope they did for your sake....nothing more exhausting than waiting in anxious anticipation?

It brings to mind when a foal was due at the stables I kept my horse at.
The mare was overdue and the vet said it was imminent.....as it was summer hols, the parents of the teenagers on the yard OK'd them for a weekend sleepover in the hay barn ( don't ask!)....one week later they were still there!
Exhausted from lack of sleep they went home and the next night the foal was born!
