I walked down to have my hair cut in the end it just got too windy to even think about peddling back up the hill, thats the only problem with Derbyshire the down hills are scary fast and up hills are hard work.

Still off and on raining here - and windy with it.
Just had a bowl of freezer soup - last year's toms, runner beans and mangetout and a dollop of mash, blitzed together. It should be H3inz 58th variety.

Have to pass Carrianne, off to a quiz night later, got to find a thinking cap first and then try not to drink too much. We are taking a friend with us that really needs cheering up. She has been her husbands carer for quite a few years and is now on her second bout of cancer. Life's not fair is it. She will be the drunkest of all of us, taxi has been pre arranged lol

Had a planning meeting at colleague's house most of the day. Now brain dead so ordered take away. Well it is Friday after all.
I was still in bed this morning when my husband went to work. He told me that the cats, probably Evie, had left a dead mouse in the middle of the living room carpet. He said he had thrown it out in the flower border. You've guess it, by the time I got up and came down the mouse had been returned. Thought his name might be Arnie ("I'll be back....") This time i added it to my mouse graveyard behind the compost bin where they can't reach. He's not made another appearance and the cats are in full winter mode and slept on beds all day.

Evening All. Dark, dreary and raining here. Tinternet is a bit slow too. I can say that with conviction now that I have a new computer. Your hair looks nice Bren We're having a throw out too, it's getting to be a habit again on Friday nights.

Not so hasty with commandeering that wine bottle, Carrie - I have a glass here all ready for filling up!

Been shopping with mum at Sains, went to McD's for burger and chips - I wouldn't want it every week, but it's yummy about twice a year!

Back to put the shopping away, do my Wonderwoman twirl and get ready to go out to the pub. In the rain.

Oh - that reminds me - your hair looks lovely, Bren.
