Aaaaaaaaarternoon Peeps. No internet for days. Well, two, I think - I lose count! Hope everyone is well.

It's a funny old world at the moment, lots of horrible news for people that I either know, or know of. Don't like it. Don't like it one little bit. The black-cloud fairy needs to leave folk alone, and move on, methinks.

Anyway, after all the sweltering heat, we have rain, dark clouds and a cooler temperature. Paperwork is piling up, as is the laundry, house needs cleaning, and the lawn is need of a mow. Where to start?

Well I am back from waiting for two and a half hours in Tesco car park for the RAC man.

Then he towed me to the clutch garage. There are not enough allowed for me to express my feelings at being towed!

Right - quick coffee then nip out to the shops for butter and to post a letter recorded delivery (or whatever it's called these days).

Then do the washing and run the vac round. I've got some promising looking blackcurrant burst tbag wine to bottle later too. Might cycle to the Hill later and pick rasps.

Been helped to clean out the chooks today - helpful son - what does he want....???? hmmm..... Saw two tiny red spider things, so panicked that it might be red mite, so the whole hen house has been blitzed and so have the chickens! Time to chill out for a while as it's old movie, face packs and Chinese takeaway night with daughter this evening
