I'm a terrible one for putting things off. Tomorrow's another day... laziness, really, I guess. 
I have a friend who sits down at new year, and writes a list of all the things she's achieved in the past year. She says it makes you realise how much you have actually done in the year. Sounds like a good one to follow.
