Jan to me is a time when i feel we can just start planning for the next summer season. Im sowing tomatoe, leek and onion seed now ready for an early start thanks to my airing cupboard and then Conservatory.
To be honest most the early tomatoe plants / onions etc will go for boot sale. I do this every year with a return of £100-00 profit. Thats the figure i feel i spend running an allotment with Rent, potting compost, seed, canes enviromesh etc throughout the year. Surprising how it adds up but im happy its self financing. Be interested in other folks views
